The Wicked World of Ted & Vulture
The Blonde Alibi!
Free
Two new faces. One familiar darkness.
In snowbound Colorado, Ted is struggling with gaps in his memory. Mariann remembers enough for both of them-and she has no intention of leaving their old life behind.
A quiet morning in Aspen becomes a plan for another hunt. With freshly dyed blond hair and borrowed names, they head for Grand Junction, where Mariann will make a choice Ted has always kept for himself.
At Slick's Lounge, Jessica is spending an ordinary evening with a book and a drink. When a distressed stranger asks for help, she agrees.
Told in vintage pulp-comic style, The Blonde Alibi! follows a predatory couple through the intimacy of their private world, the lies they tell strangers, and the uneasy hours after violence. Affection, complicity, and control share the same room.
One good deed. One deadly detour.
An alternate-universe work of crime fiction featuring Ted and Mariann, also known as Vulture.
